At The Vegan Eye, we serve more than just food — we serve legacy, healing, and truth.
This journey began in 2010, during one of the most difficult times of my life. My mother, Tonya Taylor Brooks, was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer. I didn’t fully understand the diagnosis or how powerful food could be in supporting healing. Doctors recommended a plant-based diet to help slow the disease, but the information wasn’t clear — and I wasn’t as informed as I am today.
She passed away on February 22, 2011, and my world changed forever.
Since that day, I’ve dedicated my life to learning and sharing the truth about the healing power of plant-based living. This isn’t a trend — it’s plant medicine. It’s purposeful eating. It’s a lifestyle rooted in love and legacy.
